RAMALLAH, Sunday, January 24, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partially cloudy to clear with a slight rise in temperature, which yet remains very cold, particularly in mountainous districts, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are southeasterly to easterly, and light to moderate. Sea waves are low
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 5°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 12°C and a low of 4°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 10°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 9°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Temperature is expected to rise again on Monday and Tuesday with cold conditions prevailing, mainly in the mountainous regions of Palestine.
Temperature rises further on Wednesday but remains cold especially in the mountainous districts.
PMD warned people against frost formation in the early morning hours of Sunday.
