TELAVIV, October 17, 2013 (WAFA) - Peace Now, the Israeli
anti-settlements movement, in a report published on Thursday, said that new construction
settlement starts rose by 70% in the first half of 2013 compared with the same
period of the year 2012.
The report figures showed that 1,708 units were built between
the period of January and June of 2013; 180 of them are in illegal outposts, compared
to 995 units built during the same period of the previous year.
