BETHLEHEM, July 26, 2012 (WAFA) – A group of Israeli settlers Thursday put up motorhomes on private Palestinian land in the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, to expand the nearby settlement of Atamar, according to a local activist.
Ahmad Salah, coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Apartheid Wall in al-Khader, told WAFA that farmers spotted a group of settlers putting up 10 motorhomes under the protection of the Israeli army.
Settlers have been targeting al-Khader through land seizure and infrastructure work to add more illegal settlements.
