RAMALLAH, February 20, 2011 (WAFA) - Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms (MADA) launched Sunday its Freedom of Expression Award funded by UNESCO to strengthen freedom of expression in Palestine.

MADA will offer three financial prizes in journalistic areas of articles, reports and artistic designs, in addition to honorary prizes.

Material should be submitted to MADA no later than 20/3/2011 and will be evaluated by an independent professional committee. Winners will receive their awards on World Press Freedom Day in May, the center added.
