SALFIT, February 20, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities Sunday handed out evacuation orders to five Bedouin families living in tents in al-Mahajer area, 100 metres west of Salfit in the north of the West Bank.
The families have been living in that area for over eight years and raising their livestock, and have no other place to live beside that area, explained Raed Moqadi, a field researcher at the Land Research Center of Salfit.
