NABLUS, January 31 (WAFA) - Abdul Ra’ouf Hamza, head of the local council of Kufr Qaddoum, west of Nablus, said on Monday that Israel plans to expropriate village land.

He said the Israeli human rights organization Yesh Din showed him a map indicating that the Israeli military authorities plan to seize 300 dunums of village land.

He said that the area of land Israel plans to seize is estimated at 300 dunums located east of the village.

The Israeli army has prevented farmers in Kufr Qaddoum from working on their farm land.

Kufr Qaddoum is surrounded by settlements mainly Kedumim, which houses approximately 3000 settlers. It was built on Kufr Qaddoum land in 1975.
