PLO Stresses Palestinian National Rights

RAMALLAH, January 25 (WAFA) - The international relations department of the PLO stressed Tuesday that East Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the independent Palestinian state, which will be erected on 1967 borders.

It said in a statement that Palestinian right of return according to international resolutions, particularly UN General Assembly resolution 194,  and Arab decisions is not open for negotiations.

It said the Palestinian national rights are a red line that cannot be crossed under any condition.

It said the campaign by Al-Jazeera to question the Palestinian stands, “comes in harmony with the Israeli campaign to weaken the Palestinian leadership committed to the national Palestinian project and refusing to resume negotiations with settlement.”

It stressed that “the PLO is the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people inside and outside of Palestine, and during years of struggle was able to maintain the goals and aspirations, which will lead our people to end the occupation and establish an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 1967.”
