Agreement for Application of Natural Gas Project

BEIT SAHOUR, January 23, 2011 (WAFA) - A cooperation agreement to implement the project of natural biogas, funded by the US Consulate, was signed today in the offices of the Wild Life Society in Beit Sahour near Jerusalem.

Theagreement  took place between the Wildlife Society,  An-Najah National University in Nablus and Engineers Without Borders. It is expected to build 14 models of biogas use in several governorates of the West Bank, especially in rural areas. It will also produce a user manual on the production of biogas and distribute it to farmers and stakeholders involved in the project.

The agreement will also organize a workshop for the southern West Bank at the Wildlife Society in Palestine.
