QALQILYA, January 11, 2011 (WAFA) – The Israeli civil administration, a branch of the military government in charge of the West Bank, today demolished two Palestinian homes in the village of Azzoun Atmeh, in the Qalqilya area of the West Bank, according to local sources.
Abdul Karim Ayyoub, secretary of Azzoun local council, told WAFA that more than 20 military vehicles accompanied by bulldozers and officials from the civil administration, came to the village and proceeded to demolish the two homes on allegations they were built in an area under full Israeli control.
One of the homes belonged to Samer Younis and the second to Mueen Younis, which is composed of three rooms and houses eight people.
