JERUSALEM, January 14, 2010 (WAFA) The Latin Rite Patriarch of Jerusalem, Archbishop Fouad Twal, said this week, “We are tired and we do not want any more bloodshed, hatred or violence. We want peace and reconciliation.”
Catholic News Agency (CNA) said that the Patriarch made his comments as representatives of the American and European bishops' conferences were visiting the Holy Land.
He said the visit of the bishops was “very important because it has put Jerusalem front and center, and the future of the Middle East will depend on the future of this city.”
