ISESCO Urges for International Intervention to End Israeli Occupation

RABAT, November 10, 2009 (WAFA)- Director General of ISESCO, Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, called on major developed countries and all peace-loving parties to intervene to quickly resolve the conflict resulting from the expansionist Israeli occupation of the Palestinian and Arab territories, and see to the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian State with Al Quds Al Sharif (East Jerusalem) as its capital.

Opening the third meeting of the focal points for the alliance of  civilizations today morning at ISESCO headquarters, Dr Altwaijri stressed: “the world today needs to urgently find a just, comprehensive solution to the Palestinian people’s suffering under a wicked Israeli occupation depriving them of their right to a free and decent life.”

The ongoing, unlawful Israeli occupation of the Palestinian and Arab lands, Dr Altwairji warned, will only serve to create more conflicts, exacerbate friction between civilizations, and eventually lead to chaos and instability in the world.
