Arab Foreign Ministers Agree on Unified Arab Stance
KHARTOUM, March 26, 2006, (WAFA) -Arab Foreign Ministers agreed, in their preparatory meetings for the Arab Summit, upon a unified Arab stance to support the Palestinian cause.
Assistant Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Mohammed Sbeih told Sunday WAFA reporter in Khartoum, that the Foreign Ministers unanimously affirmed the principal of establishing an independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital, and rejected Israeli attempts of judaizing Jerusalem, settlement policy and the Apartheid Wall.
Sbeih made it clear that the ministers agreed upon a monthly financial aid estimated at US $50 millions for the salaries of the Palestinian National Authority personnel.
"The Arab Summit refuses imposing sanctions upon the Palestinian people just because they held democratic elections," Sbeih said.
