SERT March 7, 2004(WAFA) - Leaders of the African Federation expressed on Saturday their support to the struggle of the Palestinian people and their rights to establish their independent Palestinian state.... A decision was made following a series of meetings conducted by the African Federation that was held in the Libyan City of Sert denied the Apartheid Wall.... The African leaders expressed their concerns about the construction of the Apartheid Wall, that Israel is still building in the West Bank, which would extend on 270 kilometers of the West Bank and East Jerusalem territories.... The leaders reiterated their support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, according to the two-state solution, and the United Nations Security Council resolutions.... The African leaders affirmed their support for any efforts aiming at peaceful, lasting and just settlement in Palestine and the Middle East...
