TUBAS, Wednesday, January 01, 2020 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man resident of Khirbet Ibzeiq, north of Tubas in the northern Jordan Valley, was today ordered by the Israeli military government to remove a room and a balcony built on his land as well as olive trees because they are found in Area C, which is under full Israeli military rule.
Ibrahim Mjalli, who received the order, said he was ordered by the army to remove a room, a balcony with a metal roofing and a number of olive trees planted in his land claiming they are located in Area C.
Israel does not allow Palestinians to develop Area C, which makes more than 60 percent of the area of the occupied West Bank. Palestinians fear Israel intends to annex this area, which would totally destroy any chance of having a viable Palestinian state.
