RAMALLAH, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold in daytime and very cold in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts, with a drop in temperature which becomes unseasonably low, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A slight chance of scattered rainfall is expected in some districts, especially in the northern. Southeasterly to westerly and moderate to active winds prevail. Sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 10°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Wednesday’s temperature is set to remain steady with partly cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions in daytime and significantly cold conditions in nighttime. Isolated rainfall is expected, especially in the northern districts.

Thursday’s weather is expected to remain partly cloudy and cold to very cold. Occasional light rainfall, along with thunderstorms, are expected, particularly in the north.

Friday’s temperature is set to significantly drop with partly cloudy and chilly conditions in various districts. Scattered rainfall along with occasional thunderstorms hail are expected on various districts.
