RAMALLAH, Friday, December 27, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is cloudy and cold to very cold with unseasonably low temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Occasional rains, which are mostly torrential, and thunderstorms along with occasional hail are expected on various districts. Rain is expected to weaken gradually in the afternoon. Strong southwesterly to westerly winds will blow. Sea waves are high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 9°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 13°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Cloudy and unseasonably cold to very cold conditions are expected to prevail on Saturday with a chance of isolated rainfall.

Sunday’s temperature is set to significantly rise and become seasonal with partly cloudy to clear and cold conditions, particularly in mountainous districts. A slight chance of light rainfall is expected on some districts.

Monday’s temperature is set to remain steady with partly cloudy to clear and cold conditions, particularly in mountainous districts.

PMD warns people against gusty winds, flash floods in flood-prone areas, slippery roads and low visibility on Friday.
