Palestinian artist Faraj Suleiman wins the Bronze Award in Carthage Music Days

 

TUNIS, Saturday, October 19, 2019 (WAFA) - Palestinian artist Faraj Suleiman won the Bronze Award in the Carthage Music Days festival at the end of its week-long activities for his musical performance that impressed the awards committee composed of seven artists from around the world.

Suleiman, a composer and a pianist born in al-Ramah in the Upper Galilee in 1984, received the award from among 14 Arab, African and European participating countries.

His music is strongly influenced by Arabic/Eastern melodies and rhythms, which he often incorporates in his compositions, and by Jazz.

The Music Days festival also honored the late Palestinian artist Reem al-Banna among others.
