RAMALLAH, January 16, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained on Tuesday 17 Palestinians during multiple predawn raids across East Jerusalem and the West Bank, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Israeli police detained 10 Palestinians after raiding and ransacking their family homes in East Jerusalem.
Among the detainees were eight minors, including an 11-year-old, three 14-year-olds, a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old.
This came as Israeli police placed two Palestinian minors, including a 14-year-old, from East Jerusalem under house arrest one for two and the second for five days.
Meanwhile, PPS said Israeli forces conducted similar raids across Ramallah and al-Bireh district, detaining four Palestinians.
In the northern West Bank, forces detained two Palestinians, including a former prisoner, during raids across Nablus district.
PPS noted that at least one Palestinian was detained from Jenin district.
