RAMALLAH, Monday, January 20, 2020 (WAFA) - Israeli forces today detained 15 Palestinians, including a father and his son, in multiple raids across the occupied West Bank, said the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
It said in a statement that Israeli forces rounded up four Palestinians including former prisoners from the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
Two of the four detainees were identified as Ibrahim Khalil, who spent a total of 14 years behind Israeli bars for resisting the Israeli occupation, and Anas Shadid, who served for three years in administrative detention and went on hunger strike twice.
In Ramallah district, Israeli military raided Abu Shkaidem village, located to the northwest of Ramallah city, where the soldiers rounded up three Palestinians.
In another raid of al – Jalazon refugee camp, located to the north of Ramallah, one Palestinian was detained.
Israeli forces conducted a military raid in Beit Fajjar, located to the south of Bethlehem, that resulted in the detention of three Palestinians, which bring the total of Palestinians who have been detained in Beit Fajjar to 15 during the last couple of weeks.
In the town of Jayyous, east to the city of Qalqilya, a father and his 18 years old son were detained by the army.
Another Palestinian was detained from al-Ram, north of Jerusalem, and another from al-Iizariya, east of Jerusalem.
