RAMALLAH, Sunday, July 28, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday is partially cloudy and warm with no significant change in temperature, which remains slightly above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 25°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A rise in temperature is expected for Monday to become 3°C above the seasonal average. Temperature continues to rise on Tuesday through Wednesday and approach 6°C above the average, said the PMD.
People are warned against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during the peak hours of the day from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm local time, and against setting fire to areas where dry grass has grown.
