RAMALLAH, Wednesday, July 24, 2019 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas today cabled Boris Johnson congratulating him on his election as leader of the British Conservative Party and winning the premiership of the United Kingdom.

The President wished Johnson success in forming the next government, saying that he looks forward to continue cooperation and coordination with him to consolidate the friendly relations and cooperation between their two countries and to achieve stability, coexistence and peace in the region based on United Nations terms of reference.

He expressed his desire to continue with the contacts during the coming period to discuss what will be needed to achieve those goals and open new horizons for their bilateral relations.
