PARIS, Monday, July 22, 2019 (WAFA) – France condemned the Israeli desolation of 10 buildings in Sur Bahir area, in occupied East Jerusalem, according to a statement issued by the French foreign ministry.

The statement stressed that demolitions in occupied territories contradict with international law, particularly international humanitarian law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

France said that these demolitions were carried out for the first time in areas under Palestinian rule as stipulated in the Oslo Accords, stressing that these Israeli measures set a dangerous precedent that harm the two-state solution.
