JENIN, Friday, June 21, 2019 (WAFA) – Palestinian sick prisoner in Israeli jails Sami Abu-Diak, 38, entered today his 18th year in Israeli occupation‘s prisons, according to the Palestinian Prisoner‘s Society (PPS).
Abu-Diak, who comes from the West Bank town of Silat al-Dahr, was arrested in July 17, 2002, and was sentenced to three life sentences in prison for resisting the Israeli occupation.
Abu-Diak is suffering from bowel cancer, and over the years his disease has exacerbated as a result of Israeli medical negligence.
There are some 6,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails serving varying sentences for resisting the Israeli occupation of their homeland.
