RAMALLAH, Thursday, July 18, 2019 (WAFA) – The heat wave is expected today to regress, except in the Jordan Valley, paving the way to a significant drop in temperature which approaches 2°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather is partially cloudy and relatively warm to warm in daytime and pleasant in nighttime. Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly and light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 25°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s weather is mild in mountainous districts and relatively warm to warm in other districts with a slight drop of temperature.
No significant change is expected in Saturday’s temperature with clear to partially cloudy and seasonably summer conditions.
Sunday’s temperature is expected to rise and approach 2°C above the seasonal average with relatively warm to warm conditions.
