HEBRON, Sunday, July 14, 2019 (WAFA) – Palestinian residents of the southern West Bank town of Beit Ummar clashed today with Israeli soldiers who broke into the town, according to a local activist.
Mohammad Awad told WAFA that after soldiers broke into town, residents pelted them with stones.
The soldiers fired back heavy barrage of teargas and rubber-coated metal bullets causing several suffocation cases who were treated on the location.
Awad said the clashes broke out in a part of the town close to the illegal Israeli settlement of Karmi Tsur, built on expropriated Beit Ummar land.
