RAMALLAH, Sunday, July 14, 2019 (WAFA) – The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during June 2019 decreased by 0.48% compared with May 2019, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said in a press release.

PCBS said CPI decreased by 1.26% in Gaza Strip, by 0.34% in the West Bank, and slightly by 0.01% in Jerusalem.

Compared with June 2018, the Palestinian CPI during June 2019 increased by 1.39% (by 1.87% in Jerusalem and by 1.02% in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip).

The Palestinian CPI during the first half of 2019 increased by 1.41% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 1.78% in the West Bank, by 1.08% in Jerusalem, and by 0.52% in Gaza Strip).
