HEBRON, Saturday, July 13, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities handed today a Palestinian citizen from Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, a notice informing his about their intention to demolish his home for lack of an Israeli construction permit, according to local sources.
Mohammad Awad, a local anti-Israeli settlements activist, told WAFA that Israeli army handed Ali Mohammad Alami a notice informing him that his home, currently under construction, will be demolished soon.
The Israeli authorities claimed that the demolition would take place on the ground that the house was built without an Israeli construction permit.
In recent years, Israeli occupation authorities demolished hundreds of homes in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem on the grounds of lacking an Israeli construction permit, which is almost impossible to obtain for Palestinians under current Israeli policies.
