RAMALLAH, Friday, July 12, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is hot to very hot in daytime and hot in nighttime with steady temperature which remains 5°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly and light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

A relief is expected in the heat stress on Saturday, paving the way to a significant drop of temperature which approaches the seasonal average.

Weather is relatively warm in mountainous districts and very warm in the Jordan Valley in daytime, while pleasant to relatively warm conditions are expected in nighttime.

Sunday’s temperature is set to slightly rise with seasonably mild conditions in mountainous districts and warm conditions in other districts in daytime. Pleasant to slightly cold conditions in nighttime.

Monday’s temperature is set to remain steady with seasonably mild conditions in mountainous districts and warm conditions in other districts in daytime. Mild conditions are expected in nighttime.

PMD warns people of direct sun exposure for long periods on Friday, especially during peak hours between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and of the dangers of setting fire to dry grass.
