RAMALLAH, Monday, July 01, 2019 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas Monday cabled Presidents of the Republics of Burundi and Rwandese Pierre Nkurunziza and Paul Kagame, respectively, and congratulated them on their countries Independence Day, according to a statement issued by Abbas’ office.
President Abbas wished both countries more progress and prosperity, expressing his appreciation for their position in support of the rights of the Palestinian people and their legitimate struggle for the establishment of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital in order to achieve a just peace.
