JERUSALEM, Saturday, June 29, 2019 (WAFA) – For the fourth time in three days, Israeli forces raided the neighborhood of al-Issawiyeh in occupied East Jerusalem in an ongoing crackdown that has left one Palestinian killed and at least 70 others injured.

Heavily armed police forces raided the neighborhood on Saturday evening in what is thought to be a new detention campaign.

Policemen were also seen smashing the windshields of vehicles parked outside homes in the neighborhood and for no reason. Earlier today, the police arrested at least 19 residents from the neighborhood after raiding and searching their homes.

Residents have recently been protesting against the unusually harsh Israeli measures in their neighborhood that included daily harassment and raids of homes under various pretexts, including collecting taxes.
