JERUSALEM, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces demolished today an under-construction structure in the town of Anata, northeast of the occupied city of Jerusalem, according to the town’s mayor Taha Naaman, under the pretext it was being built in Area C, which is under full Israeli military control.
He told WAFA that three Israeli bulldozers, accompanied and protected by a large unit of Israeli forces, demolished the structure.
He said the forces fired tear gas at residents who gathered near the site and prevented them from going anywhere near it.
The structure was being prepared to be a filling station for butane gas.
