RAMALLAH, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 (WAFA) - Italian Foreign Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi expressed on Wednesday regret at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision not to renew the mandate of the Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH), in which Italy also takes part.
"We learnt about this decision with regret but we maintain our commitment,” said the minister in a press statement.
"We will discuss it also with the other States involved", he said.
Italy is among five European countries participating in TIPH, which serves as an international observer force based in Hebron for the last 20 years.
