GAZA, May 23, 2025 (WAFA) — At least four people were killed and several others injured, some critically, in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting civilians and a vehicle in different areas of the Gaza Strip on Friday.
According to local sources, three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a group of people in the Al-Saftawi Street area, located northwest of Gaza City.
In a separate incident, one Palestinian was killed and others were wounded when an Israeli airstrike hit a civilian vehicle in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis in the southern part of the territory.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 53,822 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 122,382 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
