Israeli soldiers assault Palestinians during arrest

 

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers assaulted on Tuesday Palestinians during at least three incidents of arrest in the West Bank, according to Palestinian sources.

In one incident, soldiers assaulted 25-year-old Suleiman Abdul Karim Mousa, from Azzeh refugee camp in Bethlehem, after he was stopped at a checkpoint west of the city, according to Palestinian security sources.

Mousa received several cuts and bruises on his body that required hospitalization.

In another incident, soldiers assaulted Mohammad Abdul Nasser Hamed, 23, during a raid at his home in the Ramallah area town of Silwad. Dogs were also unleashed on Hamed, said Palestinian sources.

The soldiers ransacked Hamed’s home causing heavy damage to his house and fired tear gas inside it after arresting him. Hamed is a former prisoner.

In a third incident, soldiers assaulted and bloodied Ala Abu Khalifa during a raid at his home in Jenin refugee camp to arrest his brother, Qusai, Palestinians said.
