BETHLEHEM, Sunday, January 27, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces assaulted and beat up a number of Palestinian workers on their way to their workplace in Jerusalem, causing them to faint, according to Palestinian security sources and witnesses.
The forces reportedly assaulted a crowd of workers who were trying to pass through an Israeli military checkpoint on Bethlehem-Jerusalem road and beat up some of them, causing a jam among the workers, some of whom suffocated, fainted or sustained bruises as a result of the jam.
The workers who were assaulted are daily-commuting workers who hold Israeli-issued permits allowing them to enter Israel on a daily basis to reach their workplace.
