JERUSALEM, Saturday, January 26, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli police shot and killed a Palestinian in East Jerusalem early Saturday after shooting at a car he was driving, according to Palestinian and Israeli reports.
Israeli police claimed it opened fire at a suspicious car after the driver, who turned out to be a resident of the West Bank and was in Jerusalem without a permit, failed to stop and killed him.
Palestinians identified the driver as Riyad Mohammad Shamasneh, from Qatanna, a village northwest of Jerusalem.
