RAMALLAH, Monday, January 14, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold with another drop in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Rain, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and hail, is expected to continue especially on the northern and central areas.

Wind is southwesterly to westerly, active with strong gust. Sea waves are high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 5°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 9°C and a low of 4°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 10°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

PMD predicted weather on Tuesday to be partially cloudy to clear and cold to very cold and dusty with a slight rise in temperature. A chance of scattered rain, thunderstorms and hail is expected on some northern areas during night hours.

Partially cloudy and cold to very cold conditions are expected to continue for Wednesday. Rain, occasional thunderstorms and hail are expected on most areas. Snow is expected on mountains 1000 meters above sea levels.

Thursday‘s weather is expected to be partially cloudy to clear and cold to very cold. A chance of scattered rain is expected on most areas.

PMD warns people against gusty winds, floods in valleys and low areas and low visibility due to fog formation and low clouds as well as slippery roads.
