RAMALLAH, Sunday, January 13, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday is partially cloudy to clear, dusty and very cold especially on mountains as temperature significantly drops, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A chance of scattered rain, thunderstorms and occasional hail is expected on some areas, especially the northern, during night hours.

Wind is southwesterly, moderate to active and gusty at times. Sea waves are high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 10°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 10°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 9°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Weather on Monday is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold with another drop in temperature. Rain, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and hailfall, is expected to continue especially on the northern and central areas.

Weather on Tuesday is expected to be partially cloudy to clear and cold to very cold and dusty with a slight rise in temperature. A chance of scattered rain, thunderstorms and hail is expected on some northern areas during night hours.

PMD warns people against gusty winds, floods in valleys and low areas and low visibility due to fog formation and low clouds as well as slippery roads.
