PARIS, September 21, 2018 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas met on Friday with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in the Elysee Palace in Paris, where they discussed the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Abbas and Macron also discussed the US’ halting of aid to the United Nations Refugee and Works Agency (UNRWA) and the closure of the PLO office in Washington by the US, especially at a time of accelerating Israeli settlement construction in the West Bank.
The President arrived in Paris on Thursday evening in an official two-day visit.
