RAMALLAH, May 14, 2025 (WAFA) — The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the weather on Wednesday will be partly cloudy and mild in most areas. Temperatures will drop to below their annual average. Rain is likely in some areas. 

Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to active, with occasional strong gusts, reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h, causing dust storms at times. Sea waves are moderate to active.

During evening and night hours, partly cloudy, relatively cold conditions are expected in mountainous areas and moderate in the rest of the country. 

While on Thursday, the weather will be partly cloudy and mild in most areas. Temperatures will rise, but remain below their annual average. 

On Friday, a hot and dry air mass will affect the country, resulting in hot and dry weather in most areas. Temperatures will rise significantly, reaching 5-6 degrees Celsius above their annual average.

While on Saturday, the country will be further affected by the hot and dry air mass, resulting in extremely hot and dry weather in most areas. Temperatures will rise significantly, reaching 11-12 degrees Celsius above their annual average. 

The Palestinian Meteorological Department warned of strong winds, with some gusts reaching 50 km/h, and of dust being raised in the air.
