RAMALLAH, September 19, 2018 (WAFA) – Beijing Opera entertained in Ramallah on Wednesday Palestinian and Chinese officials in an event marking 30 years of Palestinian-Chinese relations and the 69^th anniversary of the Chinese National Day.

The event, held at the Cultural Palace, was organized by the Chinese Representative Office in Ramallah.

Yang Weiguo, head of the Chinese Representative Office, said the event came to celebrate the 69^th anniversary of the Chinese National Day and 30 years since establishing diplomatic relations between China and Palestine, stressing that China was among the first countries to recognize the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the state of Palestine.

The event was attended by members of the PLO and Fatah, as well as a large crowd of Palestinians some of them members of the Palestinian-Chinese Friendship Society.
