RAMALLAH, September 5, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday is partially cloudy and pleasant in mountainous districts and relatively warm in other districts with a drop in temperature, which reaches the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Partially cloudy and pleasant conditions are expected for mountainous districts and warm in other districts in nighttime with a slight chance for sporadic light showers, especially on northern districts. Wind is northwesterly to southwesterly, light to moderate and active at times. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is set to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

PMD expects Friday’s temperature to drop and become slightly below the seasonal average with partially cloudy and mild conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in other districts. Sporadic light showers may fall, especially on northern districts.

Saturday’s weather is partially cloudy and mild in mountainous districts and relatively warm in other districts and a slight chance of sporadic light showers, especially in the northern West Bank.

Sunday’s temperature is set to slightly rise and approach the seasonal average with mostly sunny and pleasant conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in other districts.
