RAMALLAH, September 5, 2018 (WAFA) – The overall Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine increased in July 2018 by 12.08% compared to June, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Wednesday.
IPI for July 2018 increased due to the increase in the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation by 24.95%, which had a share of 0.78% of the total industry, the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 12.65%, which had a share of 83.19% of the total industry, the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 8.08%, which had a share of 11.98% of the total industry, and the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 6.73%, which had a share of 4.06% of the total industry.
