Weather: Very hot but a drop in temperature is expected in coming days

 

RAMALLAH, September 4, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday is hot to very hot without any change in temperature, which remains five degrees Celsius above the annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD). However, a drop in temperature is expected in the coming days,

Wind on Tuesday is northwesterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 33°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 31°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho and the Dead Sea, temperature is expected to reach a high of 42°C and a low of 27°C and in the Jordan Valley, a high of 40°C and a low of 25°C. In Gaza and the coastal area, a high of 31°C and a low of 25°C are expected.

PMD said a drop in temperature is expected on Wednesday but remains three degrees Celsius above the annual average.

Weather on Thursday and Friday is partially cloudy, mild in the mountains and relatively hot in other areas. Temperature is expected to drop again, approaching its annual average on Thursday and a bit lower than the average on Friday.
