JERUSALEM, August 27, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli police and settlers Monday seized a Palestinian-owned plot of land in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah, said WAFA correspondent.
Israeli police settlers broke into a plot of land belonging to Abdul-Razeq al-Sheikh and a verbal altercation between them and the landowner ensued.
Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood is considered vital in Jerusalem as it contains a number of hotels, international organizations and consulate buildings. That’s why Israeli authorities and settlers are trying to seize more properties in the area.
