Palestine broadcasting denounces Israeli detention of its reporter

RAMALLAH, August 15, 2018 (WAFA) – Palestine Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) denounced on Wednesday the Israeli army detention of a member of its reporting staff, Ali Dar Ali, who was detained from his Ramallah-area home early Wednesday morning.

It said the detention was part of Israeli targeting of the Palestinian media, particularly the official media and Palestine TV.

It demanded the immediate release of Dar Ali and for holding the Israeli occupation authority accountable for its measures against Palestinian media.

“These measures are intended to silence the Palestinian voice and dim the picture so that it can commit its crimes without any noise,” said the PBC in a statement.

It said “such measures will not deter us or stop us from doing our national duty toward our cause.”
