RAMALLAH, August 11, 2018 (WAFA) – Three people were killed and 195 others injured in 270 traffic accidents in the West Bank last week, the police said in a press statement on Saturday.
It said three of the injuries were serious, 20 moderate and 172 light.
The police also said that out of 10,038 vehicles tested last week, permits of 236 vehicles were canceled for lack of safety conditions, whereas 246 vehicles were destroyed for being illegal. The police said it issued 4987 notices of traffic violation to drivers.
