JAKARTA, August 7, 2018 (WAFA) – Indonesia and Palestine signed an agreement on Tuesday that would allow entry of Palestinian dates and olive oil to Indonesia free of taxes, according to Palestine’s ambassador in Jakarta Zuheir Alshin.
He said the Indonesian minister of trade has asked for a list of Palestinian products which the Palestinians are also hoping will be allowed to enter Indonesia free of taxes.
He said a larger agreement may be signed to this regard in the future between the two countries.
Alshin thanked Indonesia for its support for the Palestinian economy and the struggle of the Palestinian people for independence.
