RAMALLAH, August 2, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday is partially cloudy and pleasant in mountainous districts and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley in daytime as temperature is expected to drop and approach 2 to 3°C below the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather is also anticipated to be partially cloudy and pleasant in the evening with increasing cloudiness. Scattered light showers are expected, especially in the northern districts. Wind is northwesterly, light to moderate and occasionally active. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah a high of 24°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 25°C in Gaza.

Friday’s weather is pleasant and partially cloudy in mountainous districts and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley. Temperature on Friday is expected to rise but remains slightly below the seasonal average with a slight chance of scattered light showers, especially on the northern districts.

Partially cloudy to clear and pleasant conditions are expected for Saturday in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in the Jordan Valley with a further rise in temperature to approach slightly above the seasonal average.

Sunday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 2°C above the seasonal average with mainly sunny, clear and relatively warm conditions in mountainous districts and very warm conditions in the Jordan Valley.
