HEBRON, July 31, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday conducted multiple predawn raids across the West Bank and detained 20 Palestinians, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar, a town to the north of Hebron city, where they detained three Palestinians, including two former prisoners.
Forces detained two other Palestinians, including a woman, from the southern West Bank district of Hebron.
Elsewhere in the southern West Bank, forces detained a Palestinian during a raid that triggered clashes in Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem city. No injuries were reported in the clashes though.
In Jerusalem district, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian after storming his family’s home in Kufr Aqab, north of Jerusalem.
This came as police detained a Palestinian worshipper from inside Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Meanwhile, forces detained five Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their families’ homes across Ramallah and al-Bireh district.
A similar raid was reported in Azzun town, east of Qalqiliya city, where troops detained three Palestinians, including two 16-year-old minors.
In Jenin district, troops raided al-Yamoun town, west of Jenin city, detaining two Palestinians.
Another Palestinian was detained during a similar raid into Qabatia town, south of Jenin.
